Admit who is getting excited for it?
Hopefully if Mashiro Tanaka is as good as advertised my Yankees will win number 28 championship this year.
Jeter's last season and he has a chance to break alot of Yankee records I am sure they will be honoring him in the last game of every stadium this year.

Huge Dodger fan and they are looking very good, esp. the pitching. If they can figure out the middle infield and the outfield rotation, they are going to be tough to beat.
As for the Yankees, they did make a great effort to improve but I think they are still a few players away from being true contenders. Signing Tanaka was a good move but their pitching is very suspect, from the starters right through the bullpen. Offensively they should be amongst the leaders but can they keep opposing teams off the base paths?

their pitching will be better than you think pineada is back and they have a deep bull-pen. If adam warren can take the next stop he can be a really good 4th or mop-up pitcher.

As for the dodgers they are looking good to the only thing is they are going for a power line-up in a pitchers park doesn't make sense I would be getting speed in a park like that. The dodgers don't have alot of speed.

The dodgers don't have alot of speed. While it's true that the line-up if built for power, the Dodgers have 4 guys (5 if you count Dee Gordon should he make the major league roster) who are a threat to steal every time they get on base, Kemp, Crawford, Puig and Ramirez. Now that assumes that they are all healthy which has been a problem the last couple of seasons...lol Personally, I think the Dodgers have done a good job with balancing their pitching (esp. pitching in Dodger stadium) with a power line-up for when they play in more hitter-friendly parks.

i am not saying they can't steal bases i am saying if a team plays small ball against them they don't have the overall speed.........crawford doesn't count because he will never be the person he was as a ray he is broke.
kemp and puig they may be ale to steal but you will not find either that can play small ball very good. when I meant speed I meant the like the yankees of the late 90's early 2000's or the athletics today.........that was some balanced teams.
I think dodgers will make the play-offs but i still don't think they make it all the way i don't see them as a complete team yet like the yankees.
