Chuck Finley already is the GM of three teams but yet he is still hungary, so he decided the next logical step would be to commish a league. After being involved with multiple leagues over the last few years their was some ideas that he had about running a league. Luckily for him he was able to watch awhile and see what made a good commish and a league.
The number 1 thing he observed was continuity a league that knows the sim will be the same every day flourishes more than a sim that does not, but then he also noticed in the league that does not if you are kept on the same type of schedule even if their are 2-3 days between sims sometimes life gets in the way and it is hard to be a commish and hold a regular job and perform your fatherly/husbandry dutties.
The 2nd thing that I learned is you don't want to sim to many days esp if you have a real active league if the league is not that active simming more days is preferable because you know you will have more than a day or two for the transactions your looking to make.
The 3rd thing the GM learned is that it is the GM's that make the league not the commish if the commish does his duties then more than likely you will have active GM's who participate and keep the league running.
not looking for a grade or anything just a forward to the league.

Congrats on starting your own league! I think you will do well taking the experience you have and bringing it to this league. It nice to have variations and makes it more challenging.
Best of luck!
