The clippers have been hearing it for years they are the little brothers to the lakers or the red-headed step child. Recently however, the clippers hired a GM who has been
around the way a few teams gm'ing 3 other teams. In fact he has won a title in every league except one so far, but his making of the play-offs can not be denied. This GM
Chuck Finley is a bit anxious and is hoping his struggles and strifes will help him run his new team better.
He has assembled a talented roster so far with his two picks and then getting cpu'ed like the rest of the league for his others.
up front you have 3 defensive bigs led by the 7'2 greg ostertag mainly we would just like him to be a menance against other c's.
then you have ervin johnson and we want him to grab every rebound he can.
to top it off you have the old-time veteran horace grant who has won a championship or two in his playing heyday.
at sf you have the phenom rashard lewis if he is not ready then you will have the veteran corliss williamson who will man the spot.
at sg we are hoping the future will be 20 year old jamal crawford but if he is not ready we have the veteran 26 year old derek anderson who may get increased minutes
at pg we are set for years with the drafting of 26 year steve nash and the wiley veteran out of syracuse university sherman douglass backing him up.
If i can get the camps i want to send them to then I can surely see the clippers as a perenially play-off team.
The biggest obstacle believe it or not will be the gm who frequently gets inpatient and pulls the trigger on many trades he should not make. As for the rest time will tell
but right now the clippers are calling L.A theirs.
